I had a pretty mixed experience at Shin Shin Hotel. The location was super convenient, just a short walk to Seomyeon Station and close to local eateries and the market. However, the cleanliness left a lot to be desired, as I found used socks in the wardrobe which was totally gross. Plus, the beds felt more like bricks! Overall, it was decent but there are definitely areas that need improvement.

Rooms
6.0
The room was spacious but had zero storage options, like no wardrobes. I was also disappointed with the cleanliness; I found used socks in the wardrobe when I checked in, and some towels were definitely not fresh. Plus, the bed was so hard it hurt my hips!
Service
5.0
I had a hard time contacting the manager for basic inquiries, which was frustrating. The staff was friendly enough, but the service wasn't as attentive as I expected.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location is a real win! It's just minutes from Seomyeon Station, making it super easy to explore Busan. Plus, there are great shops and restaurants nearby, including the must-visit Bujeon Market.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was a letdown with limited options; just toast and jam on offer. I was hoping for a more varied selection but only found coffee and orange juice. Not what I'd call a great start to the day!
Facilities
5.0
Facilities were minimal, and although they advertised some fun options like a karaoke room, it wasn't useful for me since they didn't have any Western music. Thankfully, they did provide valet parking.

Staying at Shin Shin Hotel was a mixed experience. While the location is decent for accessing various parts of Busan, the service left much to be desired. The room was spacious but had several issues including a clogged toilet and a lack of sufficient towels. Breakfast options were limited and not very appealing.

Rooms
5.0
My family room was quite spacious, featuring a small living area. but the toilet was a major issue as it clogged frequently. Additionally, the beds were extremely hard and there was no adequate closet space.
Service
5.0
I experienced poor customer service throughout my stay, especially with the toilet issue that remained unresolved despite multiple complaints. The staff seemed overwhelmed and unhelpful when I requested basic toiletries.
Location
6.0
The hotel is in a less happening area of Seomyeon, but it has good access to public transport like the nearby metro station. I appreciated how easy it was to connect to other parts of Busan from here.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was disappointing, with very few options for someone looking for a western-style meal. I ended up going to a nearby Starbucks instead because the breakfast area felt unclean.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel offers basic amenities but overall, the cleanliness could be improved. The rooms have some nice features like a PC, but it felt more creepy than useful.

I had a mixed experience at Shin Shin Hotel. The location is super convenient, right near the metro, which made exploring Busan a breeze, but the room I stayed in was lacking in several practical aspects. If you’re on a budget, it’s acceptable, but I wouldn't consider it a place worth returning to for the nightlife or comfort.

Rooms
6.0
The room was oddly designed, lacking essential fixtures like a closet, and the absence of a fridge or safe was a bummer. On the plus side, I had a PC in my room, though it felt a bit invasive. A good point was the decent water pressure and the automatic bidet in the bathroom, which was a fun surprise.
Service
8.0
The staff was quite helpful and friendly, easily answering my questions and communicating well in English. They assisted with room temperature adjustments and provided fresh towels upon request, which I appreciated.
Location
7.0
You really can't beat the location; it's just a few minutes’ walk from Seomyeon station, making it easy to access key spots in the city. However, I found the area kinda dead at night, with not much to do after dark, which was disappointing.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was super basic with just toast and eggs, but I was able to grab food from nearby restaurants. I wish there were better dining options on site or nearby for a more varied experience.
Facilities
5.0
While there were no fancy facilities, the Wi-Fi was fast, and the hotel could arrange valet parking, which was convenient. Still, the overall amenities fell short with no coffee/tea stations in the room and basic bathroom setups.

I stayed at Shin Shin Hotel for 5 nights, and while it was a budget-friendly option in Busan, there were several issues that marred my experience. The location is convenient, close to the subway, but the surrounding area is less lively, especially at night. There were some positives, like the helpful staff and spacious rooms, but the cleanliness and amenities left much to be desired.

Rooms
6.0
The family twin room I booked was spacious enough, but I was surprised to find no closet, just a wall hanger for a few coats. Additionally, there was a PC in the room that I found quite creepy.
Service
6.0
The front desk staff were helpful and spoke English well, which was a plus. However, there were major shortcomings in customer service, especially when I needed extra pillows and towels for our group.
Location
6.0
The hotel is situated near a subway station and surrounded by restaurants, but the area felt quite Korean and lacked nightlife, making it a bit dull after dark. There’s also a wet market behind the hotel.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast was average, so I would suggest exploring local street food options instead. There are plenty of eateries nearby, which were a highlight of the area.
Facilities
6.0
Housekeeping offered daily fresh towels, but I noticed some dust on surfaces. The bathroom was spacious, although lacking in proper storage and toiletries, requiring us to ask for basic items like toothbrushes.

My stay at Shin Shin Hotel was pretty mixed. The spacious room was nice, but there was a lack of storage, which was a hassle. On the upside, the location was fantastic, close to the subway and local markets. However, the cleanliness left much to be desired, and the breakfast options were really limited.

Rooms
6.0
The room was spacious but had no closet, only a wall hanger. I felt a bit uneasy with the PC in the room; I covered it with pillows. The cleanliness could've been better with dusty elements and leftover items.
Service
6.0
While the staff were friendly and helpful, especially the front desk who gave good tips, I did feel some issues with housekeeping standards.
Location
8.0
Located right near Seomyeon Station, it's super convenient for getting around Busan. There are also plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, but the area lacks nightlife, which was a downside for me.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was quite disappointing. There was only toast and jam, with no tea options available. I opted not to return after my first experience.
Facilities
5.0
The amenities included fresh towels daily, but I found the overall upkeep in need of improvement. The bathroom was a wet room, getting slippery after showers.
